Esotericism  Esotericism or Esoterism signifies the holding of Esoteric Opinions or Beliefs, that is, ideas preserved or understood by a small group of those specially initiated, or of rare or unusual interest. The term can also refer to the academic study of Esoteric Religious Movements and Philosophies, and Religious Movements or Philosophies whose proponents distinguish their beliefs, practices, and experiences from mainstream Exoteric and more Dogmatic institutionalized traditions. The term derives from the Greek ἐσωτερικός (esôterikos), a compound of ἔσω (esô): "within", thus pertaining to interiority or mysticism. Its antonym is "exoteric".

Dharma Definition and Meaning Dharma (Sanskrit: धर्मdharma; Pali: धम्म dhamma) is a key concept with multiple meanings in Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism and Jainism. In Hinduism, dharma signifies behaviors that are considered to be in accord with the natural order. In Buddhism dharma means "cosmic law and order", but is also applied to the teachings of the Buddha. In Buddhist philosophy, dhamma/dharma is also the term for "phenomena". In Jainism dharma refers to the teachings of the Jinas and the body of doctrine pertaining to the purification and moral transformation of human beings. For Sikhs, the word Dharm means the "path of righteousness".

Subtle Body or The Immortal Body A Subtle Body is one of a series of psycho-spiritual constituents of living beings, according to various esoteric, occult, and mystical teachings. Each subtle body corresponds to a subtle plane of existence, in a hierarchy or great chain of being that culminates in the physical form. It is known in different spiritual traditions; " The Most Sacred Body " (wujud al-aqdas) and " Supracelestial Body " (jism asli haqiqi) in Sufism, " The Diamond Body " in Taoism and Vajrayana, " The Light Body " or " Rainbow Body " in Tibetan Buddhism, "The Body of Bliss" in Kriya Yoga, and "The Immortal Body" (soma athanaton) in Hermeticism.

Elemental or Mythic Being An Elemental is a Mythic Being in the Alchemical works of Paracelsus in the 16th century. There are four elemental categories: Gnomes, Undines, Sylphs, and Salamanders. These correspond to the Classical elements of Antiquity: Earth (solid), Water (liquid), Wind (gas), and Fire (plasma). Aether  ( Quintessence ) was not assigned an elemental. Terms employed for beings associated with Alchemical Elements vary by source and gloss.

The Aura - The Auric Bodies - Aura Color Meanings The Aura is the electromagnetic field that surrounds the human body (Human Energy Field-HEF) and every organism and object in the Universe. In Parapsychology and many forms of spiritual practice, an Aura is a Field of Subtle, Luminous Radiation surrounding a person or object (like the halo or Aureola in Religious Art). The depiction of such an aura often connotes a person of particular power or holiness. The Aura  of any form of life can be defined as the quality of a Sphere of Radiatory Activity. Very little is as yet known about auras, and a great deal of nonsense has been written anent the matter.

Chakras, Characteristics and Description In Hindu Metaphysical and Tantric/Yogic Traditions and other belief systems Chakras are points or knots, in the subtle human body. They are located at the physical counterparts of the major plexuses of arteries, veins and nerves. Chakras   are part of the  Subtle Body , not the physical body, and as such are the meeting points of the subtle (non-physical) energy channels, called nadiis. Nadiis are channels in the subtle body through which the life force (prana), or vital energy moves. Various scriptural texts and teachings present a different numbers of chakras.

Mysticism - The direct union of the Human Soul with the Divinity Mysticism is "a constellation of distinctive practices, discourses, texts, institutions, traditions, and experiences aimed at human transformation, variously defined in different traditions."  The term "mysticism" has western origins, with various, historical determined meanings. Derived from the Greek μυω, meaning "to conceal", it referred to the biblical, the liturgical and the spiritual or contemplative dimensions in early and medieval Christianity, and became associated with "extraordinary experiences and states of mind" in the early modern period.
